Job Description

The Sales Manger is responsible for ensuring the sales team delivers first-class customer service, leading the team to achieve sales and profitability goals, and implementing growth strategies. Responsibilities of the Sales Manager also include:

· Manage the sales team including hiring, training/coaching, performance management, etc.

· Lead a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets

· Responsible for understanding, analyzing and prioritizing KPIs

· Help establish and adjust pricing by monitoring costs, competition, and demand

· Develop opportunities for product area enhancement and expansion

· Provide sales support to existing accounts

· Identify customer needs & areas where Montalbano Lumber products and services can improve customer productivity

· Driving lead generation efforts

· Generate new business from existing and new customers

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

· Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction

· Work with customers to trouble shoot jobsite issues

Requirements

· 10+ years’ B2B sales experience

· 5+ years in a leadership sales position

· Excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities

· Experience in managing and directing a sales team to meet sales goals

· Ability to travel

· Experience in the building supply & construction industry

· Ability to build and generate new sales while maintaining relationships with existing accounts

· Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel

· Superior verbal communication and follow-up skills

· Physical ability to perform tasks necessary to perform job duties.

· Pre-employment background verification as well as pre-employment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
